The mandate of the Greater Vernon AdvisoryCommittee is to deal with matters pertaining to Parks, Recreation and Culture, the Greater Vernon Water Utility, the Multi-Use & Performing Arts Centre, and the Vernon and District Queens Committee that is specific to the City of Vernon, District of Coldstream and Electoral Area's "B" & "C" of the Regional District that are not already dealt with by the Regional Board. Regular Meetings of the Greater Vernon AdvisoryCommittee are held once per month. Special Meetings of the Greater Vernon AdvisoryCommittee are held at the call of the Greater Vernon Advisory Committee Chair and deal with business of an urgent nature that can not wait for the Regular meeting. Minutes of the Greater Vernon AdvisoryCommittee are made available as soon as they are approved by the Greater Vernon Advisory Committee, typically at the following meeting.
