Arenas

Greater Vernon has five ice arenas available to local sports groups and residents. They are: Wesbild Centre, Civic Arena, Priest Valley (PV), Centennial Outdoor Rink, and the privately owned Okanagan Training Rink. Additional single ice surfaces are available in adjacent communities including Armstrong, Enderby, and Lumby.
The Civic Arena: Found on 30th St and 39th Ave. in
Vernon , the Civic Centre hosts Greater Vernon Minor Hockey Association, and adult teams.

Wesbild Centre: Located at 3445-43 Avenue in
Vernon (2 blocks east of Hwy 97 on 43rd St), Wesbild Centre is home to the Vernon Vipers Junior “A” hockey team. Ice time is also allocated to minor shockey, adult hockey, ringette, and public skating. Visit the website: http://www.greatervernonmultiplex.ca
The Centennial Outdoor Arena: As part of the GVS Recreation Complex, this outdoor ice rink is open whenever the weather co-operates. Public Skating is free. There are times booked for Parent and Tot Skates, Shinny, Ringette, and for
School District #22 Skate Programs. Skating times are available by consulting the website: http://www.greatervernonmultiplex.ca
The Priest Valley Arena: Home of the Vernon Figure Skating Club and Speed Skating, the Priest Valley arena also books adult hockey, public skating and skating lessons. Priest Valley arena is behind the GVS Recreation Complex.
